Hasn`t even been a day since the unveil of the new BlackBerry 10 and now you`re getting iPhone and Android smartphone users already making the inevitable usability comparisons or complaints. Some are reporting a confusing setup process while others seems just plain old lost, Anyhow this video is good for some laughs.

When asked "what have you learned from Apple" RIM`s European managing director Stephen Bates really did not have anything to say on that subject, at all! The question gets repeated numerous times and it`s as if it was never heard. The comparisons are inevitable so might as well answer them, silence makes you look bad.

AMD will be bundling what it calls it`s "Elite Software Experience" with the Richland APU due out Q2 2013. This bundle includes software for gesture control, facial recognition, wireless connectivity and streaming video. Looks like pretty cool stuff but I`m waiting for a hands-on.
you can find out more at the AMD site here

This is Not Pac-Man, its the Pac-Man video game from yesteryear you know and love but with a twist, as opposed to controlling Pac-Man with a joystick you tilt your device to make the little yellow guy go where you want him to go. Unfortunately not available from the Google Marketplace or App store but if you contact the developer he`ll send you a download link.

Lumino Kinetic + Beyond from Yuri Endo on Vimeo.
Want objects to jump of the screen of your iPhone (or any device for that matter) just a couple of prisms and you can create an illusion used for centuries called Pepper`s ghost. But this trick called "luminogeist" created by Japanese designer Yuri Endo uses four prisms to get the effect.

We know Samsung goes to great lengths to mock Apple, but RIM? In this latest ad Samsung mocks RIM and at one point an actor asks "are you finally going to retire that thing?" Sounds like Samsung is bit worried about the upcoming BlackBerry Z10 launch if you ask me.

This is one very cool mod. This project started out as a broken R2-D2 toy and was not only repaired but modded with a Raspbery Pi running Pasbian to make it autonomous making it almost as cool as the onscreen Star Wars movie version.

Kim Dotcom`s a big man, so was the launch event for MEGA. This one has everything, helicopters, tribal dancers, techno, pretty girls and of course flamboyant speeches from the man himself all from his mansion.

Kim Dotcom isn`t going to let the Feds keep him down, his new site Mega will give every user who signs up 50GB of storage free. Looks like he`s laying down the gauntlet to the likes of Dropbox and Skydrive, but you`ll have to wait until Saturday when his new file sharing site Mega goes live.

Reviewers have already covered the performance and benchmarked AMD`s FX series processors so this is not the point of this article. As some of you may know the FX series ships in a fancy tin box, but did you know the tin insert is made out of recycled tin boxes? Well if you look at the under side of the tin you`ll encounter the original product from where it came. Some buyers have found tins from "Hubei caihua tea industrial co., ltd", Archer Farms and Marlboro just to name a few.

The darling of low cost DIY micro computers has moved over a million units. No small feat considering there are only 2 official distributers. Despite the low specs (and low cost) they`re turning out to be pretty hackable little things, nice project.

I don`t like missing calls as much as the next guy (unless I`m screening them) so this Japanese man came up with a solution, a gizmo that straps to your arm and whips out your iPhone so you never miss a call.

I like Ubuntu, I`ve used it on and off (but prefer Mint). So when hearing that Mark Shuttleworth of Canonical will be there demoing Ubuntu mobile I was intrigued. It looks fast and sleek and for those familiar with current Ubuntu builds has a Unity like bar at the side (love it or hate it). So far this has been a hands off demo and Canonical has no dedicated hardware vendors picking up this OS until 2014. Still nice to see an alternative.

Too funny, Microsoft had one of it`s campuses broken into in Mountain view California late last year. The thief or thieves broke into 3 offices in Building 5 between December 19th and the 26th and despite the fact there was tons of stuff (probably Surfaces) only iPads were taken.

This is the EX Hybrid Controller System for your iPhone 5 and it is ingenious. Not only is it a magnetically attached Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard, if you flip it over you get a game pad too. The unit is made from aluminium, boasts 40 hours of usage, is water and dust proof and takes only an hour to charge with a pretty decent standby time of 160 hours.

Apple developer logs have found something interesting, namely references to a new iPhone and IOS 7. Unnamed sources have stated that these web log entries started showing up lately as "iPhone 6,1 and another entry "IOS 7". Obviously not much is known about this device or OS because you know, Apple really don`t talk much about unreleased products.
