AMD unveils new low power Z-60 APU

From AMD:

"AMD Z-60 APU powers tablet solutions providing quality and performance to professionals on the move.
The combination provides users with portability, windows compatibility and security in one tablet device. The AMD Z-60 delivers improvements in CPU and graphics performance vs. its predecessor."

The Z-60 is a dual core APU with 1MB of L2 cache and HD 6250 graphics. It packs a 1GHz clock speed and a power envelope of 4.5W TDP

Sounds like a nice competitive processor to take on Intel`s Clover Trail offering. Looks like a fine APU for Windows 8 based tablets.
