Apple TV is real, coming in 2014

Still a rumour until we actually see it but nonetheless this is an interesting article to read. Rumours have been thrown around for years now that Apple is secretly (or not so secretly) working on it`s vision of television.

Writer Marc Andreessen: "He warned that Apple is a "vault," so no one really knows what's happening inside the company. That said, he says the rumors about an Apple television are strong, and it's one of those poorly kept Valley secrets.
He doesn't know what the Apple TV will look like, but he knows this: Once it comes out, everyone else will scramble to copy it."

Rumour: GlobalFoundries set to become Apple`s new chip fabricator?

But could there be a yet another deal in the works? Possibly with GlobalFoundries? After all, AMD has just cut orders and having Apple as a client would be a nice feather in their cap.
